Day-Of Wedding Survival Kit
Every bride knows the importance of being prepared – especially on the day of the wedding. We’ve compiled a list of some go-to items that may come in handy on your big day. After all, someone is bound to need a bobby pin at some point.
Here it is:
Clear nail polish – to cover up any blemishes that may have happened from the time you got your manicure to the morning of.
Hairspray – to keep those fly-aways in place.
Tide-stick – heaven forbid one of your girls spills juice or coffee on her dress. These will take almost any stain out as long as it’s done almost immediately after the disaster has taken place.
Mouthwash – to keep you and/or your bridesmaids’ breath smelling fresh.
Kleenex – for the tears that could fall while getting ready.
Ibuprofen – for those nasty headaches that come out of no where at the most inopportune times.
Deodorant – to freshen up. This item is often forgotten, so it’s nice to have some on hand just in case.
Granola Bars – you and your party are guaranteed to get hungry the morning of. While you’re getting ready, have some of your favorite Kashi granola bars out to munch on.
Bobby Pins – Ladies, we all know that they’re always there when you don’t need them, and scarce when you do. Be prepared and bring extras.
Safety Pins – for dress emergencies that may arise. Better to be safe than sorry.
Floss – for the pesky seeds and other foods that might get stuck. You don’t want food in your teeth for pictures!
Sewing Kit – again, for dress emergencies. Probably won’t need it, but if you suddenly find yourself needing one, you’ll be glad you packed it.
Nail files – in case a nail is broken while you’re getting ready.
Super Glue – for shoe disasters/mishaps. Rare, but it has happened.
Pepto Bismol – to calm the stomach.
- Perfume – just a little spritz and you’re good to go!
Of course, there are plenty of other things you could add to your survival kit, but these staples will definitely help you through the day!
