Bridal Couture of Birmingham – You are in good hands
Well, after an enlightening meeting with Amy Pohlod, those two words can be attributed to multiple award winning Bridal Couture of Birmingham. Why? Because Amy’s mission is to make sure her bridal clients are personally taken care of by eliminating the stress and worries of dress hunting.
Amy, wife and mother of twins, opened Bridal Couture of Birmingham and Bridal Couture of Plymouth nearly 10 years ago, after experiencing a less than desirable encounter while planning her own wedding 19-years earlier. Her objective is to take the stress out of finding and purchasing the perfect wedding gown and replace it with fond memories. She does this by building a relationship with her brides, while helping them fulfill the vision that they are trying to portray for their wedding day.
“We get close to our customers”, Amy says. She begins by working with the brides by encouraging them to freely explore their bridal inventory. “You can’t really see a dress that is in a bag”, Amy states. After perusing the display of dresses and selecting samples, then personalized customization makes the dress come alive. The clamping of the dress. Selecting the veil. Adding accessories and voila…the perfect dress!
What differentiates Bridal Couture of Birmingham from other bridal salons?
Amy accredits it to the personal attention given to the bride. “It is close to my heart. We want to give the bride the dress that she wants. Our customers are personal to us”. Another distinguishing attribute is the selection of featured designers, many of whom have a unique signature look. Lastly, Amy states that all of their dress alterations are done in-house by their staff seamstress, which attests to the personal one-on-one service provided by her team.
