Vendor Spotlight: DJ Crashers
Today, we’d like to tell you about DJ Crashers, a DJ service that also provides a photobooth, photography packages and up-lighting.
DJ Crashers is a family-run business, and they try to be as affordable as possible for the bride and groom.
Couples can also book multiple services all at once if they choose to utilize their other packages, which sets them apart. Saxon Majeske, of DJ Crashers, says that all of the vendors know each other really well.
“We’re really detailed with our outlines, and we make sure everything is on schedule,” Saxon said.
They make things easy on the couple, which is something you can look forward to, should you choose DJ Crashers for your big day.
Brides will fill out an informational form outlining how the night will go from a production standpoint, what services she will need, etc., and DJ Crashers will be there to make it happen – in the smoothest way possible.
Saxon says that they are masters of playing all different kinds of music. From Top 40 hip-hop to country, rock and disco, DJ Crashers is experienced in playing all genres.
“We like to build it up throughout the night from older stuff to newer stuff so that everyone will know the songs as the night goes on.”
The farthest DJ Crashers has ever traveled for a wedding is Charlevoix. However, they are now keeping within an hour and a half of Lake Orion. They do charge a small travel fee if your location is over a 30-mile radius round-trip.
Saxon says his favorite part of this job is the fact that he gets to be a part of the most important day of a couple’s life. He says that he likes that what he does makes a difference.
“We get to be a part of people’s lives on their biggest day,” Saxon said. “Being around music and people who like to have fun really is a bonus.”
