Wedding Planning can be an exhilarating experience, but it can be overwhelming as well, especially if you want a flawless, stress-free and memorable wedding day experience for family and friends.
The bride is usually the main focus of the entire celebration, so why not use the B.R.I.D.E. to focus on what can ease the planning process.
B = Budget
This is a requirement! If you don’t have it, planning will be stressful. You must give a dollar amount to every wedding category. Keep in mind your reception venue is 80% of your budget; after that, assign a dollar amount to the rest: decorations, florals, cake, etc…
R = Rentals
Most items on your Pinterest board that you’d want for your wedding can be rented. Those pillars, the wood board that reminds guests to turn off their phones, and even the card box for the reception can be rented. Save yourself the time and resources of purchasing them, and you won’t have to remember to pack them up and take them home at the end of the reception.
I = Itinerary
This isn’t the one you create for travel, but it’s similar. This is the one that everyone involved in the wedding can follow so they’re not only on time but also so they’re at the right place at the right time! There’s nothing worse for your guests than waiting an hour (or two) for the wedding to begin because someone is late because he/she didn’t know what time to show up.
D = Day of Coordinator
You need a professional, logistics specialist to coordinate everything you’ve planned. Family members or best friends can’t do what a professional can do. This person knows how to anticipate issues, and, most importantly knows how to fix behind the scenes mishaps, and they DO happen, but generally you’ll never know because it was handled before you even realized!
E = Entertainment
No one likes a dull celebration. Part of your wedding celebration is hiring the RIGHT entertainment for your wedding guests and get them dancing right alongside you and your spouse. You do want people to exclaim this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, right?
Wedding Planning isn’t easy, but it can be manageable with these five tips. Happy Planning!
